PI Planning Room (Large)

PI planning is the most critical event in all of SAFe. As such, it is critical to have a space that is conducive to collaboration and alignment between all members of a train, regardless of whether you are planning in-person, dispersed, or fully distributed. The PI Planning Room (Large) Template is meant to be used by Large Agile Release Trains with 11 to 14 teams. Use this template as a base for all other PI Planning activities including links to presentations, the Program Board, Team Boards, team communication channels, and more to make navigation through the virtual PI Planning artifacts seamless and efficient. Instructions: 1. Use the Text Item to assign one team per table. Include the team name and links to each team's communication channels, team boards, and any other items needed to collaborate with that team. 2. Use the Presentation Item to link the presentations that will be presented during the Business Context, Product/Solution Vision, Architecture Vision and development practices, Planning Context, and Planning Adjustments. 3. Use the Big Visible Information Radiator (White Board) Item to link to needed documents/information such as the Program Backlog, the Planning Adjustments, the ROAM board, the SOS Radiator, and more. 4. Use the Communication Item to link to commonly used communication channels such as a full ART communication channel or a channel where the Business Owners, the RTE, or Solution Management can be reached.
