Story splitting on an Agile Team

Note: An example of an oversized Story and its component split Stories are placed on the board. Learner Guidance: 1. Working as a group, choose either the Stories you have previously created or a Story from your Backlog. Import these Stories into the template by dragging an "Oversize Story" item onto the sheet and populating it with the Story description. 2. Review the imported Stories with your team. Consider all options for splitting each Story, deciding on the best method for splitting and how many Stories it can be split into. Capture these new Stories using the "Split Story" item. Be sure to write them in user voice, using the "As a - I want - so that" format. 3. Using the "Acceptance Criteria" item, write acceptance criteria for each split Story. Use the "Given-When-Then" format to write the acceptance criteria, and make sure the acceptance criteria are testable.
