Home Remodel Projects

This template is useful in illustrating how you can use Participatory Budgeting / Buy a Feature to collaboratively prioritize a list of items. This example uses a case study of remodeling a home to identify which specific investments the homeowners would like to make. Instructions: 1. Identify a set of participants, such as students within a class. 2. Create one forum for each group of 5 to 8 students. Ask them to imagine that they own this home as a rental property and they are trying to determine which improvements would enable them rent their home. 3. Discuss the process and how it can be applied to real portfolios.
