PI Planning SoS Radiator Day 1
During PI Planning, the Scrum of Scrums checkpoints help keep the teams on track and facilitates early identification of risks. On the first day of PI Planning, there is typically 4 SoS checkpoints. The first is the Getting Started Check-In which typically happens at the start of the Team Breakouts. This checkpoint ensures teams understand the vision, have everything set up, and are prepared to begin planning. The second checkpoint on day 1 is the Iteration Planning Progress Check-In. This checkpoint is positioned early in the Team Breakout time block to ensure planning is going smoothly and address any blocks that may be affecting the team's ability to plan. The third checkpoint on day 1 is the Team Objectives Progress Check-In. This checkpoint ensures teams have begun the process of drafting PI Objectives, identified and begun resolving dependencies, identified program risks, and more. The final checkpoint for day 1 is the Draft Plan Readiness Check-In. This checkpoint ensures teams have resolved any open items from the previous checkpoints, identified all program risks, identified most dependencies, and finished their draft PI Objectives and are ready to present them. Instructions: 1. Zoom in to clearly see the question and column for each team. 2. Place the corresponding item in each box for each question and team. Tip: To have a less crowded view of the board, change item view (in the right hand menu) from Classic to Icon.
