Team Board

The Team Boards are a crucial artifact in PI Planning. They allow teams to visualize work, understand the load vs. capacity in each iteration, surface dependencies and possible risks, renegotiate scope if needed, and more. Instructions: 1. Calculate and enter capacity for the team for each iteration. 2. Import any backlog items using the import tool. All items will be imported in to the top left corner. Drag and drop them into the Backlog area or any of the iteration boards. 3. Double click an area on the board to add a new item, select the type and enter a title and description. 4. Double click any existing items to change the title, item type, or description. 5. Calculate Load and add it to the board. Make adjustments to any iterations where Load is greater than Capacity. 6. Add PI Objectives and Uncommitted Objectives to the PI Objectives box ensuring they are SMART Objectives.
